Florida control panel installation

This is an experience I had when the company moved from the old office to the new facility. This new facility, besides being Hurricane lev 5 proof, had a lot more office space. Now the good thing and the bad thing was the fact it had to be remodeled inside and not only that, but we wanted to customize the wire-ing and everything to support our growth. That meant to connect the huge generator we have purchased to the electrical grid and separate the AC from the rest of the power etc. It was a lot of work but we had a huge help when we needed to build our custom automated control panels. The company that helped had a lot of experience and they were among the few guys that worked on the building that we had no complains at the end of the job. It seems they have been in business for over 35 years and really that says a lot. Although they have done bigger jobs that the one they done for us, if you need a company for any type of control panel servicing Florida than these are your guys.

Mackinaw City - Mackinac Bridge roadtrip

I know this is not related to "Florida" in any way but it is related to a nice experience I had during a Memorial Day. I decided with some friends of mine to take a road trip. I had one of them saying that he's got some relatives he hadn't seen in a while in Michigan. Said and done! We rented a car and started the long drive. That is the moment when you realize how long Florida State is. I mean as soon as we got out of the state we were crossing state borders every hour but until we got to Georgia it took us 6 hours.

Anyway, we drove a lot but we enjoyed it as he were switching drives and there were a lot of interesting places we have seen along the road. Now when we got to MI someone told us we have to go over the bridge from Mackinaw City. That was really a nice experience. It seems the bridge is the 3rd largest bridge in the world. It connects the lower and the upper Michigan peninsula. The view from the top i bet it's amazing (I have seen some videos on Youtube.com). The bridge doesn't connect the Mackinac Island to the main land but it bears its name... I don't know why.

Anyway, if you are in the area and looking for a nice driving experience than you have to see this man made wonder. You can find travel info about the Mackinaw Area all over the net.

Southwest Florida vacation - Fort Myers & Sanibel Island Beach

I have some friends on the Florida West Coast (or Shouthwest should I say) that invited me and my wife to pay them a visit. They have been couple of times in Boca but we never returned the visit. So, on Memorial Day 2008, we decided to spend couple of days over to the west coast.

Honestly we didn't really expected to find anything more interesting than our Palm Beach area but we went more to see our fiends. We got there on a Saturday afternoon. It seemed like a typical southern community/ town with everybody laid back, everyone out on the ocean to fish, have some sun and drink a beer or two. The drive took about 2 hours and we used I-75 to get there. Obviously the are is not as developed as the Palm Beaches but has great potential. Southwest Florida real estate investments can still be profitable as the land is quite cheap and the area is growing. The beaches are amazing, especially the beach from Fort Myers. There are a lot of teens and I bet is quite cheap to find a place to crash. The Ft Myers beach has a beautiful white sand and virtually no rocks or anything. I was truly impressed.

Now during the Memorial Day we decided to go out on the beach, where else ?!, for a barbecue. We have decided to go to Sanibel Island. The beauty of the island come from it's wilderness. It does resemble with some of the islands from the Keys but it does have on the other hand something of its own. We have stopped on the beach right after we passed the bridge that connects the island with the continent. As expected, we hardly found a place to "camp" but we finally managed. The beach was packed with people. There were many flavors in the air coming from all our barbecue neighbors. We have contributed to the atmosphere with some specific Romanian meat flavors, that blended naturally with the rest.

After we had some beers and enjoyed some steaks we jumped into the ocean. There were a lot of boats out on the ocean that day. It was just a good old plain southern beautiful day.

On our way back to Boca we have realized that Florida has a lot more to offer. We knew we have discovered another possible vacation destination.

Living and visiting Florida

I begin this blog because I want to share the world a wonderful experience I was lucky enough to live in Florida. By experience I mean the last 4 years of my live. During this time I lived, worked and traveled all over the state and I came to love it more and more.

Florida is a name that undoubtedly makes you dream with your eyes open or brings back some warm memories form the past. I know each and everyone of you know something about it. There are many beautiful places in the world to see and I know some of them are in the Sunshine State. I will not post the experiences in a chronological order but they way they come back in my mind. I hope you all enjoy this and find it useful.
